The Hamister Group has opened the Hyatt Place Hotel in Niagara Falls, a project that was several years in the making.
The six-story, 128-room, a $35 million investment by the Buffalo-based Hamister Group is located at 310 Rainbow Boulevard and just a few blocks from the Niagara Falls State Reservation Park and the Rainbow Bridge.
“It is a big piece of the puzzle,” said John Percy, Destination Niagara USA president and CEO.
The Hyatt Place is one of nine hotels to have either opened, been re-branded or renovated in the core of Niagara Falls in recent years.
Hamister began discussing the hotel project in 2014 as a Hilton Garden branded hotel with a cost of $25 million.
