Roads here are made differently than down south. My husband hates southern roads - lots of rubber in the asphalt, or so he was told -- made flexible to deal with the heat. He drove to VA in a snowsotrm and south of PA, he said he slid all overr; he is a great driver, no accidents since 1969. The main city roads are always good because the buses go on them. The suburbs are better taken care of.
