I've been doing some research here and there on Buffalo, NY because that's where I'm planning on moving to soon. I'd like to know what's the best areasm hospitals, etc. I've been reading some of the other threads and the information provided has been very informative and helpful but my main concern/inquiry is hospitals. I require to see a specialist every 8 weeks and I'd like to know if what hospitals (either in buffalo or near it) you'd recommend? How's the cost of living?
I'd also like to know if there are any nice and affordable condominiums in Buffalo or the Buffalo area? I've been looking at apartments, which I'll probably go with but my preference is a condo, particularly rent to own.
Hope I'm making sense and getting my question across o.k.

Thanks in advance.
Buffalo General has some of the best doctors in town and Millard Fillmore Suburban is great also.
Location: Unlike most on CD, I'm not afraid to give my location: Milwaukee, WI.

Guess it sort of relative on where you're coming from, which you neglect to tell us.
Taxes and utilities are higher than most of the country. Not sure about food. I believe medical costs are a tad higher than average. Housing costs, especially if you buy, are definitely lower.
What kind of specialist are you going to need? That might help you decide what medical facility would be the best for you.
There are some nice condos in the area starting around 50,000 for a one bedroom, but again, that depends on where you will be: Buffalo, Cheektowaga, Amherst, etc...
