The game is on the 27th, so figure at minimum the 25th and 26th we'll be there.

Stay downtown where most of the nightlife stuff is happening.
Last call is 4 am, so some places don't get busy until late, just keep bar hopping until you find the crowd.
- Chippewa Street downtown - lots of clubs and some upscale bars
- Allen Street in Allentown (just North of Downtown) - dives, indie music and a few nicer bars in between
- Elmwood Ave in Elmwood Village (North of Allentown) - college bars, dives and young professionals bars
- Hertel Ave in North Buffalo - little bit of everything and a slower pace compare to Chippewa and Allen which can get crazy on the weekends.
Other tips:
- If it's after 2 am, head to the Pink. It's the best dive bar in the world
- Misuto Chows and Founding Father's are pretty unique
- For dinner hit up the Genesee Gateway district - can't go wrong with Toutant, Raclettes, Tappo or Marble and Rye, nearby on Ellicott is Deep South Taco and Big Ditch Brewery
- Check showtimes in the theatre district. Lots of concerts and Buffalo has an awesome indie theatre scene
- Helium Comedy Club
Besides the above, other places downtown include:
- Seneca Buffalo Creek Casino - also several bars/breweries/pubs nearby including Labatt's test brewery
- Riverworks - check for special events - unique converted grain elevators with brewery, climbing, 2 ice rinks, roller derby rink, much more
- Multiple breweries and brew pubs
- 716 or Pearl Street for sports bars
- Anchor Bar for the original chicken wing place (Main Street downtown not in the burbs)
- lots more
