Where would Buffalo be without Doug Jamal and Terry Pegula (Niagara Falls: hotel, home)

These 2 men have done more for the City Of Buffalo and WNY than anyone else in my memory. More than the Buffalo Billions and all the other failed programs put together. They should be commended and honored. Let us not forget the late Ralph Wilson either.

These two guys have really made big contributions. Ralph Wilson gave 50% of his proceeds back to Buffalo. New stadium, Governor's home town. Who could ask for more?
You also have churches in the community that have contributed to building housing in the city and area that doesn't really get told a lot either. I'm thinking of Mount Aaron Baptist Church and True Bethel Baptist Church as a couple of examples of churches that have done this in Buffalo and Niagara Falls.
There are other developers that don't get as much publicity that help contribute to housing and other development in the city/area as well.

I agree but look at what Doug Jemal has done in a few short years. He took the abandoned eyesore One Seneca and turned it into a viable thriving building right in the heart of downtown. He saved the Richardson Complex, Boulevard Mall, Fountain Plaza, Statler Hotel, the Hyatt Downtown and many others
Another thread said Pegula was 80+ years old. I'm wondering what, exactly, and also Doug Jemal?
Terry Pegula just turned 72, his wife is in her 50s and his children are heavily involved in the family’s Buffalo holdings
