Mr. Russert was a great ambassador for the city of Buffalo. I'm sure he is greatly missed by all.

The positive descriptions of Tim Russert (authentic, down to earth, real) I think describes people of the Western NY region as a whole.

Tim Russert was definitely one of the good guys from Buffalo.

I've received several e mails from former WNY'ers from the West Coast to the Southeast in the past day all feeling this loss and reminding me to say a prayer for his family.

"Once a WNY-er, always a WNY-er"

Tim Russert was awesome. He stuck up for Buffalo and really put it on the map!
His legacy will live on through his son Luke.

My deepest sympathy to Maureen, Luke and Big Russ.

He thoroughly LOVED his hometown!! RIP Tim. You deserve a gold chair in Heaven for all you have done!
