Even from your pics, the view is great and I don't see the skyway being as intrusive because there is much new development to see downtown.
I've always hated the skyway, but it shouldn't really put a damper on our Erie Canal Harbor Project development. I mean, just look at it thins way - It provides shade, or even the people driving on the skyway will have a bird's eye view of the development and want to get off the skyway and come down to shop/play. And once bass pro development and the entire phase of the project is done, we may just be the the right track to having Buffalo become better than it's ever been since the past.
Buffalonian4life, I have a great shot of how much space is still available for development and workable around the skyway. Imagine the Arena becoming the last stop on the rail when the Commercial Slip and other canal projects are complete and opened to the public.

The first all glass tower to be built in Buffalo. It is actually a rehabilitation of the older building built in the 70s.
