Given the past 3 years under the current administration, who thinks Buffalo needs a new Mayor?

A few simple rules apply....
  • If you once lived in Buffalo & have since moved to the suburbs, don't reply.
  • If you once lived in Buffalo & have since moved out of state, don't reply.
  • If you never lived in Buffalo but have relatives registered to vote in Buffalo, don't reply.
  • If you only visited Buffalo, or heard bad things about Buffalo, don't reply.
  • If you step into a voting booth and don't see "mayor of Buffalo", don't reply.
  • If you are not a NYS registered voter, please do not reply.
The purpose of this thread is to gather early information from registered voters in the City of Buffalo on next year's Mayoral election.

No, not the only reason. I'm sure there is someone who can do better. But its not me.

If Clinton takes the cabinet post and Brown gets chosen to replace her you will have a new mayor...like it or not.

Brian Higgins is also being considered, scary thought.

I'd prefer Brown as Mayor over Higgins as Senator.

Can anyone give me some info on Mayor Brown's term, seeing as I will be back in Buffalo for the election (even if I wasn't I could still vote because I am registered there.) I have been away as most of you already know and I have only read about the good things he has done.

He's been following along on the previous Mayor's handbook, complete with all the same politicians riding coat tails. In short, it's not much different than when you left, just a different name of the Mayor.

I am not officially replying, since the above told me not to. However, wouldn't it depend on what the change was that is offered? Change just for the sake of change isn't always an improvement either.

Yes. I'm sorry I voted for him. He is a classic polished politician. He hasn't done a thing to stimulate growth. He spearheaded the cameras and even the police don't have any idea who monitors them.
