I once took a friend to his first hockey game at the Aud. Our seats were in the second row of the oranges in the steep end. We bought a beer on our way to the seats and paused at the top for the Anthem. I then hustled down to the seats only to look up and see my friend in a cold sweat with both arms wrapped around the railing. He did make it down to the seat but refused to stand the entire game. I offered to get him another beer in the second period but he refused. Didn't want to have to get up to pee.

Great story! Made me laughout loud .
I know some people that refuse to stand up even in the new HSBC arena because of the same effect! Lol, imagine what their reaction would be in the Aud!
Thus the title only for the Aud: "nose bleed section"
Indeed, and is that still the only arena in the world really to ever have a title like that? It's certainly one of the things it is know for today, anyone else know of another one like it in another city by any chance?
I sat there once and wondered how the fans did it. I was one of lucky ones who split season's with my brother. We sat in the last row of the Golds right near the locker rooms
