Thinking about moving to Buffalo from Orange County, CA.....Can anyone recommend some nice parts of the city to move to? What are the costs like out there per foot for a decent place? Thanks

Welcome to Buffalo! Your move, should you choose to come, will not disappoint you. The Buffalo area has some of the most affordable real estate conditions than any other American city, and has a very stable market.

You can look into the Elmwood Village, or Allentown which are both beautiful, ethnic neighborhoods within the city. Also around the Parkside area near Delaware Park which also contain beautiful architecture, proximity to downtown, and near tons of shops, restaurants, boutiques, and more, would not disappoint.

Also, if you are a more urban person, looking into perhaps a loft, condo, etc...Look into downtown Buffalo where a lot of loft conversions are taking place. New condos are also going up at a fast rate despite the recession, if you are into that - on the city's claim to fame - waterfront.

Hope your move to Buffalo is a smooth one, and be sure to check out the sites, attractions, and one of the seven wonders of the world, just 20 minutes away. Niagara Falls.

Welcome to the Queen City - Buffalo, New York.

I live in the Parkside Area (on Parkside) and I love it there. The houses in my area are a little pricey but sometime you can get a deal and pay under $200,000.
