Glad to hear you had a great time in Buffalo. What else did you guys do here? Where did you stay? How were your accommodations?

Honestly, we did a LOT of eating. Haha. Friday night we stopped in a few bars on Chippewa Street...one of them was a pub called Something Devine's?

We stayed at the Doubletree in the Medical District. The location wasn't that great, and the accomodations were so-so, but the people were really friendly and eager to help.

LOL, of all of the great Buffalo hotels to choose from.....The Doubletree. Ah well, I'm glad to hear it was alright, but if you head out this way again, perhaps try and consider someplace nicer...so many options actually - even though we don't have tons of hotels.

Funny that you say that. Why is the Medical District Doubletree so bad? I was actually thinking of staying there the next time I visit Buffalo. Which hotels at and affordable price do you recommend? I hope I don't have to stay at the airport like I did the last time.

I can't say as I stay at hotels in Buffalo (since I live here), but I have always heard good about the Adam's Mark.

It's not that it is so bad (better than suburban) but rather there are so many better choices, and because it's aimed for use of the MC. Though, I do understand that it might be a bit cheaper there. Like FedupWNY said, the Adams Mark- the best, Hyatt, Hampton Downtown, Holiday inn, and many more!

Comfort Suites Downtown! They even have a TGI Fridays on the first floor fronting Main Street. Great views too!

Adams mark is ghetto. I took my wife there for a night away and we filled the jacuzzi only to find a bunch of pubes floating. The DoubleTree was nice. My out of town family stayed there while in town for our wedding. The accomadations are so-so but the rooms were nice and clean
