Have ya ever said to a panny (with a straight face) "I was just gonna ask you for spare change" just to see how many would actually offer what they already panned? You might be surprised. Buffalo pannies are really very polite. Must be something in the city of good neighbors.

Nope, I haven't tried that! I am not sure it would work however as my encounters with them are generally on my lunch breaks, and my attire would likely give me away as someone who isn't in need of their change.

I agree, they are very polite.
