It's funny that of all cities, Buffalo invented air conditioning! We had the first air conditioned office buildings in the world, along with many other types of AC.
An interesting fact here: Frank lloyd Wright built the Larking Office Building ( foolishly torn down int he 1950s ) so that it vented air and basically was air-cooled. Sadly, that is one building it would be a gem to have.
