I cant believe people stating that all seasons are fine. Just fine. What a load of crap. I was raised in Canada and have lived down south and in Buffalo now for 15 years. So I feel like I can make a valid contribution here.
Can you get by on all seasons? Of course you can with good caution. Should you? Hell NO! There will be days you should not go out regardless of your tire.
There are some all seasons that are better than others though if thats what you want. Check out Tireack.com for ratings.

So where to buy? Well I have bought multiple times from the Firestone store at the Thruway Plaza. I have bought tires from them because they will sell them on average $60 cheaper than the same tires from any other Firestone store. I have no idea why but it's like that everytime.
So I can recommend them. I have bought tires from Sams club and was noy overly impressed with the kids they have. Espescially if you have one tire that is out of round and needs to be replaced like I had from them. I bought from them once but they are not my first choice. Dunn tire is great as long as you know what you are getting.
Right now I reccomend Dunn because they have winter tires m&s for my old car with 17" wheels for $360.96 total including everything!! Winter tires could save your life. Is your life worth $360.96 mine sure as hell is. Including tax

Oh, I agree. You can generally get buy on all seasons. (Although, all season tires are not all equal in snowy conditions either, it depends a lot on what all seasons are being considered). They are not the ideal, but not the end of the world either. I have done numerous winters on all seasons. Still prefer snows because I have found them to be far superior, but you can make it on either.

Does anyone know how much a set of Toyo tires would cost?
I have a RAV4 Toyota SUV and now I am going to need tires but whew .... they are a bite.
If anyone happens to know who sells them and at what cost I would appreciate it.

Order them Tirerack.com and have someone mount them. You could probably get a comparable tire from a decent chain. Just stay away from the cheapy Chinese tires.
