It sounds like a very nice private school and you hardly hear anything about it. Why is that? I also noticed that it only goes up to 8th grade and was surprised it doesn't go up to 12th grade like the Park School and other similar schools.

I checked out Elmwood Franklin and Park Schools. Both seem to be similar and good places. Are there any other good private schools in the buffalo suburb areas?

Many of the suburban public schools are as good (and in some cases much better) than private schools in many other parts of the US. If you live in Williamsville, Orchard Park, Lancaster, Clarence, East Aurora, Hamburg, Grand Island (as well as several other areas) there is really no need to pay for a private school though their are many options if that is what you prefer. Nardin in Buffalo is one of the best schools in the state. Some of the better suburban private schools are St Joes (boys only) & Mt St Mary (girls only) in Tonawanda & Kenmore, St Francis (boys only) & Immaculata (girls only) in Hamburg, St Mary's (boys & girls) in Lancaster, Sacred Heart (girls only) in Amherst, There is also a very good one in Williamsville but the name escapes me ........ but in reality Williamsville East & South along with Clarence & Buffalo City Honors all rank higher than every private school in the area other than Nardin (and East Aurora & Orchard Park rank higher than most).

I'm fairly certain the one in Williamsville you refer to is Christian Central Academy. I actually went there when it was still a public school (it was called just Academy at that time)

It is a pretty good school. A very healthy percentage of my classmates at Nichols attended EF and they did not seem to to have any problems.
