Vermont neighborhoods are proving impossible to research. I'll be signing a lease somewhere site unseen so this is extremely frustrating.

Young family in late 20s with small baby looking to rent near Williston, VT. We've never been to Vermont, won't be going until we move there, and google maps' street view apparently does not want to travel that far north.

What town do we want? Are there upscale trendy walkable areas? If those don't exist, where do the young families all want to live? Looking to rent primarily in newer apartment or town home complexes with some sort of walkability factor and an option for covered parking.

Why are you choosing not to visit first? This isn't a wise idea.

Spur of the moment work move and I don't want to do a very long car ride, or flight, with a newborn any more than I have to.

Then do a short term stay place before signing a lease.

Essex Junction and South Burlington both share boundaries with Williston and both are walkable and on Google maps.
