Wachovia wasn't perfect, but generally their service was excellent to decent. Every since Wells Fargo bought them out, seems like cs took a nosedive faster than Bush's approval ratings going down.

Am I the only one here who prefers Wachovia over WF?

I think anytime a company gets bigger, it has more layers and the customer service goes downhill. So, I agree with your statement. I prefer smaller banks to the large ones. I like speaking to someone without a foreign accent and can answer my question without having to connect me to another department where I have to explain the situation again. I am in NC and moved most of my accounts to a small bank in NC called Peoples Bank in Newton, NC. I have really been happy with them.
