Im pretty sure not all CEOs of McDonalds eat there and not all Wal-Mart CEOs shop there.

CEOs create and implement business plans and oversee the execution. Part of that execution is to hire people whose job it is to keep 'in touch' with the consumers' needs.

Next you'll be asking why the CEO isn't sewing the clothes, too.
