I just started working for QuickTrip a few days ago, so i'm still in training. The job is definitely not for me, so i'm pretty sure I won't graduate from training. Here is my main concern. When I go to apply for another job, I obviously won't be listing it in my work experience. Will my future employers be able to find out that I had a job for only a few days and left? That goes for any job, if you leave within a week and don't post it as work experience on the application or resume', can that employer still find out about it? Thanks for any responses in advance!

I never paid much attention to one or two of that type of thing happening. The pattern that is much more a concern is the revolving door at one or more months, and multiple attempts at jobs. Training costs for a week are minimal. Be up-front, say that it isn't working out, thank the company for the opportunity and let them know you wouldn't want to accept more wages, since they won't be getting the benefit. Be sure that goes on your termination paperwork. A voluntary quit for a job that doesn't fit is a graceful exit.

Most jobs are at will unless you sign a contract, but that has more to do with getting sued.

You should be fine as long as you don't list it on your resume since the new prospective employer will only use the references you listed to contact. It's not like they're going to hire a special investigator to find out your past or anything and they don't have your 1040 to see who's paid you the past year.
