I'm putting myself out as an independant data consultant, and have a professional website. My business has a name, and I refer to it in terms of services provided as 'we' on the website, not 'I', mainly because I think it seems more established and professional. However, sometimes I think marketing it as 'I' would be the better way to go, you know, 'I do this' 'I do that' etc. -establishing more personal connection and legitimacy? I will have to do more personal networking now, so that's why this issue has come up. Any ideas are appreciated.
"We" can include your CPA and corporate officers, as well as any temps. Keep it "we" but let potential customers know that you are growing the company and will be handling their account personally for at least a couple of years.
I think you're just a naysayer. why not elaborate on what could be bothering you about it. Anyone knows good business and marketing can put a slight spin on things.
Find some strategic partners and figure out how to bundle services. Then you can say "We" with legitimacy.
