It costs $50,000 to start, and it will, on average, net 15,000 in profit per year.

Scale it.

15,000 X 34 stores = $510,000 per year in profit!!!!!

Making money. It's so easy!

Is that $50,000 to start one store, or $50,000 per store? Because if it's $50,000 per store you're going to have to lay out $1.7 million in order to realize that $510,000 profit. Still a good return with a 3-4 year payback on the initial investment, but that's a lot of money to come up with.

How is this all going to work? How solid are your plans? Why am I a skeptic about the claims?

Step 1: Build a Business
Step 2: ???
Step 3: Make a profit.

Seems legit.

It's a restaurant. It is going to have 34 locations across the U.S. Most restaurants make around that number in profit. The owners just don't own enough stores to make A TON of money.

Because not many people have the determination to make it a more common occurrence.

Most restaurants profit at least in the 10-15K area. The owners just don't have the resources (extra cash) or initiative to scale them.

Or they grossly underestimate operating costs and initial startup costs. No matter the determination restaurants have a high rate of failure within the first to three years. It cost a lot of money to operate a restaurant. Expanding too quickly also ups the risk of failure.

If you want to come across as confident or cocky, you should have a firm grasp of the numbers, inside and out front to back etc.

Yep, and they aren't starting with a clean slate. They are, from the start, bogged down by start up and operating cost loans that eventually cut into their profit too much for them to be able to rely on it as a source of main income.
