I am planning to establish online website selling Egyptian linens
This involve ( Importing linens from abroad )
selling them in U.S
Exporting to Canada and Mexico from here in wholesale basis from my U.S storage location
so do I need to have import and export authorization + normal online business ?
When importing products into the US it would be best to work with a customs broker. This is a person who is familiar with all regulations, and is there for you every step of the way. Once the product is here you will need to know where you will be storing & shipping from. Will you be storing at your house and handling the shipping yourself? I would recommend renting space from a third party warehouse who can candle all incoming orders, get everything packaged & shipped, and can be your primary point of contact. I do work for a third party warehouse, and if you want I can send you a private message with more information.
If you ship to only the USA, Canada and Mexico, and the goods are innocuous, then you can put the import burden on the buyer.
