Anyone have recommendations on what merchant services to use?
BOA: $29.99 monthly 3 year contract, clover system to process mobile payments (tablet and credit card swiper), software to track sales and inventory, best transaction fees, no termination fee but will be responsible to pay out the full contract (on the hook for $1080).
Paypal/squarespace/blue pall: $29 monthly fee (no contract), highest transaction fees, options to lease equipment or can use our own, and software to track sales and inventory.
We are leaning to stay flexible as we don't know how successful we will be off the bat, but curious on what other businesses who have an online and in person presence use that recently started off.
You need to tell us the transaction rate and if there is a per swipe charge as well. Those are as, if not more, important than just the monthly fee and if a contract or not.
Does it need to be mobile? If not, none of those. I can give you a link and some advice when we know more what you need.
How much do you expect to make? $500, $2000, or $15,000 a month?
If it needs to be mobile, Square isn't a bad choice, but I don't know their online sales capabilities.
