Does anyone else play DFS on these boards? I've been at it for two years, putting in a few hundred dollars at the start of each season. I only play the large daily tournaments, putting in as little as $2 a night, but more normally around $6 to $9. Up until last week it was nothing more than a hobby for me, but then I won both 1st and 2nd in a tournament with more than 6,000 teams. That was a $3K win. I immediately put a request in with the DFS provider to withdrawal the money. Bottom line, all it takes is one of these wins every so often to make this a profitable idea. And it beats having a second job!
I play daily MLB games. $1-$5 usually, $25 occasionally when I'm up a bit. My biggest win ($1500) was on the NFL. That was on less than $10 in entries.
I have no doubt that I'd make more betting $25 per day in 50/50 contests.....but I know I'd kick myself (down a flight of stairs) when I inevitably come in first place.

I hear you. When I first started I played the 50/50's sometimes, or head to head play, but it just doesn't make as much sense to do those, as to play in the tournaments where you've got a chance to win some real money.
