Hello everybody, My mother and sister have recently gotten involved with a company out of Idaho called Kyani. They sell vitamins and skin care treatments. They admitted it was a MLM.I felt that was all i needed to know about it.I just went to their convention in Dallas. My sister and mom are relentlessly guilt tripping me to try it.They are really drinking the kool-aid.They even got my cousins and my grandparents talking about it.They keep on saying on saying the vitamins can help people so much but I dont believe it because its not FDA approved. They were saying they restored liver function from total failure after trying conventional medicine.
I just did not believe it because those stories must be fake. They keep on saying it has anti-oxidants.I tell them beer and wine has anti-oxidants.I am drinking age. They keep on telling me that I am not supporting my sisters efforts to "own and grow her business".I think she has already lost at least one friend partly due to this MLM.My mom said that most women who make 6 figures are in the MLM industry.I just dont think thats true.I am in a partnership with my dad in a lucrative industry(oil and gas) and they said I could make more money doing this MLM than oil and gas.I just think they are snake oil salesmen. They tell me of people making a bunch of money doing Kyani but I think those people are at the top of a ponzi scheme.
My mom wants me to possibly be a Kyani distributor while I wait to get my own business established.Tickets to that convention I went to cost 200 dollars. It costs a minimum of 399 dollars to become a distributor.I think they are preying on desperate people. My sister said I get free cars but you get loans and Kyani supposedly pays for it.I just think thats too good to be true.I just think its a pyramid scheme and a scam.My sister and my mom just wont take no for an answer.I heard that some vitamins may be linked to cancer but I dont know if that true or not.Sorry for my long-winded rambling lol.Do yall know anything about Kyani or if its a scam or not?I googled Kyani and could not find any real reviews for the most part. Thanks in advance.
According to their income disclosure statement, 12.5% of distributors were not active in the last 12 month period and 62% of distributors did not receive a check for $10 or more. 81% made $3576 or less per year on average. This does not include expenses.
Whether the strain on relationships with family and friends is worth the dream of easy wealth you'll have to weigh yourself. Your mom and sister are responding to pressure from their upline to recruit everyone they know and you'll be pressured to do the same. How wonderful will it be to spend all your free time making little to no money and at the same time destroying relationships?
Hi insider, thanks for your input.I came across that guy last night and I bet hes right.Very good advice,MinivanDriver. Good one, jasper hobbs. Thanks everybody.I really appreciate it.
For me, it comes down to profits. Can I make enough money to waste my time if I sold one bottle to one person. How much would I make? $5, $10, $500, $1,000? If I sold one product to one person and I only made $100 or less, you can forget about it. Sales is too hard to be wasting time and effort just to make $5, $10 profits.

Snake oil. What's more, the personal cost in terms of lost friends and estranged relatives are not worth it. If you want to make a lot of money through your network of people, sell real estate. At least it's dignified.
