Hi!

I just received my work permit in Canada (I was on a study permit) and got married on 5th August 2017 (@ Seattle, Washington)with my boyfriend who is on F1 Visa in the states, pursuing his masters in computer science (2nd year). I am back to Canada now and am applying for my dependent F2 visa, but I have a few doubts that I need help with

1. Ours was a really last minute wedding, no invitation card but sufficient pictures(only 30 ppl in the wedding).---- So would it risk my chance of getting an F2 as it was a small wedding without our families and last minute? (We do have our marriage certificate)

2. When I went to the US on my tourist visa, I said at the immigration that I was going to meet friends, but I came back married, will that get me into a tricky position?

3. My father-in-law will be sponsoring my stay in the states, we can show sufficient funds too, but the fact that my husband is not earning yet and my father-in-law is supporting both of us will create issues?

4. If needed we can manage to transfer amount to my husband's bank account, but the last-minute transfer will be suspicious?

5.What are the other things where I can get stuck?

A little more background--- He is in a reputed university and has full GPA. He had a very good internship. I have a job offer, but I am not planning to work in Canada and it only 3 days that I have received my work permit. I stayed in the states for about 2.5 months.

Please advise.
Thank you.

It would help of you state what your citizenship is and what his citizenship is. I find your story a bit confusing.
