More jobs will be lost over the next few years as more M&A are done with the influx of cash some of these companies will have from the tax cuts. It's just the nature of the beast.

CEO and executives make mistakes. Then they lay off the people who followed their orders.
How is upper management responsible for anything if they're the ones punishing the rank and file for the mistakes the upper management make?
