I recently sold a bread route I had for 3 years because I burned out like a mofo. With the short exp. dates on the bread you have to be in every store 7 days a week. The stales and 2 am start time turned me into a zombie about 2 years in.

I found an 11k/week PF snack route on their website. It's only selling for 120k, which seems to be way way way under priced. Anyways:

1) Why would someone sell it so cheap?

2) Is a PF snack route better than bread routes? How often are you in the stores? What are the hours?

Just looking for some advice before I contact them. I don't wanna sign a contract and go back to being miserable, sleep deprived, and in the same situation I was working bread.

Thanks!

I don't know anything about it, but I suspect you have to be there frequently to keep your shelf space filled and neat. If you leave too many gaps in your inventiry, the store might decide you don't need that much shelf space and sell your shelf space to someone else.

I have a buddy who owns a Pepperidge farm cookie Route. Every account is 7 days a week. That sounds way to cheap. Something is up. My buddy bought his for 280k and brings home 2400$ a week net. But it does 15k a week in sales. My buddy works 6am to 6pm.
He is prone to a lot more promotions, but a lot more stale.

My buddy George had a PF route. Don't know what he paid but profited $75k a year after expenses. Worked all the time though.
