McDonalds is being sued for not protecting it's employees.

Ironic because this lawsuit was started before a recent incident in Philadelphia in which an employee was beaten up for not giving a group of teens free food.

This is exactly what McDonalds is working on. They've eliminated half their workforce already through automation. Apparently they're taking their ball and McJobs and heading home.

Protection granted. Stay at home.

Saying something I would hope anyone reading this would know already, the vast majority of the workers who work in McDonald's restaurants are not employees of McDonalds Corporation. They are employees of the independently owned franchisees who own the individual restaurants. So I can't see how a suit against McD corporate doesn't get thrown out in short order,

Naw, the economy depends on millions of make-work jobs that produce nothing of value. Alll those skyscrapers full of employees who xerox things that will never be looked at, just to comply with government mandated regulations. The US consumes more paper now than it did when there were newspapers and no computer storage. It takes millions of useless commuters to waste all that paper. Just imagine the economic ans social catastrophe if instead, they were paid to be stayathome moms, raising their children and cooking healthy meals.

Yes, yes, you whine, but where would the money come from to pay them? Same place it comes from to pay them to waste paper.

There was a awesome ribs takeout restaurant in Chicago where the counter was behind bullet proof glass. Your order was placed in a steel draw and slid out to you.
