If you aren't a public health official or medical researcher, I don't care what you're doing to "support your customers during these difficult times".

I have received about six emails from random companies that have nothing to do with public health touting their coronavirus efforts. Okay.

I don't care if you feel socially pressured to issue some public response despite not having any expertise in or responsibility for the effort to manage the spread of coronavirus. I respect the companies that have stayed silent more.

Worse still are the companies clearly trying to make hay out of this. No, I don't think your deep learning tools will help find a cure for coronavirus, and I think it's pretty ghoulish to try to market off of that.

The worst are the wildcat "LinkedIn influencers" (a sorry lot any day) offering their hot takes and sympathy for those affected by the spread of coronavirus. I hope they sleep well at night after an evening of pressing refresh manically to watch the number of blood-likes they get go up.

I agree with you but I simply hit the delete button. Much easier than this useless rant that isn't even reaching the subject you're addressing.

I'm sure that most of the world knows that it's the CEO's admin assistant who is typing up the canned responses.
