My boss told me he would put me in Paycheck Protection Program . Then it ran out of money and was offered again with assurance small business would get the vast amount in the second round. However after 11 weeks no money could be obtained by my employer. The boss told me to apply for unemployment. I did and got my pay for the week I applied, and went back to work the following week. However it seems impossible to get someone that will talk to me about recovering the 11 weeks I lost. Every time I try unemployment, I only get recording or disconnected. Any help would be welcome.

What state? Most states will not retro unemployment back to your original unemployment date. Once you are not paid, that is when you apply for unemployment.
