Are those still a good business idea?

I was trying to find some articles on how the recession is affecting the travel industry but couldn't really find much.

I recently read (and you could google) that there has been a huge increase in B&B's by people desperate to pay their mortgages. If you have no experience or track record in the field, you are likely to find it difficult to find and build a clientele.

How big a mailing list do you have? How are your potential guests going to learn about you, and what incentives can you offer them to try your B&B out?

It's a tough way to earn a buck, especially for the first few years.
