I totally think that internet fax services are the way to go. I'll find out which one my boss uses and give you the link.

op: for the type of service you're asking for, begin a customized comparison search by going to Internet Fax Price Comparison click on "receive only", then follow steps 2 and 3, then hit compare (at the bottom)

If you use Google Docs you might want to look into Google's Ginza Fax service.

But 3 out of 3 reviews say it's too expensive when compared to other services.

Quote:

  • Use your Google Docs account as inbox / outbox

I would check out FaxitFast.com. Their cheapest email fax plan starts at $5.83 / mo and comes with 250 inbound / outbound faxes. They also automatically forward any inbound faxes to your email address and let you add up to 15 emails to receive at. You can pick your own dedicated fax number and their Fax 250 plan comes with a 30 day risk-free trial to see if you like the service.

I also use myfax. It works not only for incoming, but outgoing documents as well. $10/mo. Never had any problems with it.
