Before you decide to engage yourself in small cleaning business, make sure that this kind of works best for you and you are physically fit to enter this job. It’s because cleaning is a tough and tiring work. Furthermore, you need to possess customer relation skills and some basic background on office and accounting. If you think you’re qualified with these stuffs, you can now move on to other essential tips to consider before you get started.

The very first step to begin with is getting your first clients. Bear in mind that most customers will question how long you have been in business and want references. Well, you don’t need to create fish stories in trying to impress your customers. Just state the truth and be confident enough. The second step that you need to do is of course, to advertise. Before doing so, decide the type of image that you wish to describe on your advertising material. The best advertising method that you can do is to create a website. Your image is very important. Be consistent with all your advertising. If you have a logo, be sure to use it on all your advertising materials. I think it is best to have a website developed before you start advertising. If the internet is not your thing, you can do this on local newspaper and come up with an eye catching ad. Make sure to sell your quality and services which can’t be found on other companies.

Not all people read the newspaper, so a nice idea to make your business known to public is by giving flyers. You can put it on difference places such as local groceries stores and businesses. And of course, don’t forget to bring business cards with you and start passing it on your possible clients.

You will be ok if you follow these simple steps
1) Never say "no" to requests
2) Don't rush
3) Get lots of experience
4) Don't appear cheap on $ in any way
5) Look your best, dress clean and always be mindful that the customers time is
more important
6) Actually be comfortable to see customer...they will sence it
7) Always look for ways to improve quality
9) Find little things to do not on the list to show care.
10) MOST IMPORTANT....when providing maintenance attempt to leave office areas
orderly....situate chairs errand things like pens paper clips elastic bands in
"photo shoot" order. Most of the clients are women and when they see this
extension of order they will love it and "stop" looking for problems or mishaps of your work. In maintenance , looking for problems will manifest problems Good Luck
