I live in Los Angeles, and have been reading an article about a real estate developer in my area who is currently involved in the development of a 3.5 million square foot mixed-use retail center in Calgary. I have been trying to find out exactly what this project is called, but the only thing I am able to find on Google is Deerfoot Meadows. Has Deerfoot been around for awhile, or was it something that was or is currently under development. Or is there another huge development in the Calgary area that might be the one I am looking to get information on?

There are actually a few mixed developments that are that big... CrossIron Mills and yes Deerfoot Meadows are two of them.
Deerfoot Meadows has been around/in development for years. First shovel went in the ground there probably six or seven years ago, if not earlier.
CrossIron Mills is newer. Probably three years ago, opening last year.
