I'm from Toronto and I'll be graduating soon with an honours BSc in Biology and minor in chemistry, I will be applying to grad programs but I would much rather work in my field and grow. I would love to get into the environmental field (consulting/administration/field work etc). As many of us know the job market for recent grads in Toronto isn't that great, and I have friends in Alberta who tell me that the environmental sector is booming. I know nothing is easy, but if I move to Alberta and set my mind on trying to land an environmental job straight out of uni, will I have any luck? Would the move to Alberta be worth it?
Please share any advice !
Thanks
