Thank you. Wanted to rep you but they wouldn't let me. If he's foolish enough to think I don't know that a .357 magnum will also fire .38 Special, +P even, then he's beyond hope! I carried both for years -- one on hip, one in boot. Now I just carry a 5 round .38 +P, airweight, shrouded hammer, "belly gun" which is far more often in the car than on my person. It's a comfort thing when we're taking trips!

Nowadays, they call it "while cleaning his duty weapon."

I know the phrase. If he's going to dishonestly turn a present participle into a gerund, I'm going to have some fun with him.

No you're not. Don't flatter yourself. You're not all that much! For the record, there's no gerund in any of those sentences.

Aww, heck, he's now going off half-cocked with a grammar book.

Look out, boys!

Oh, yeah... The $19 gun registration fee is definitely the reason people leave the state and it certainly has nothing to do with the high cost of housing.

No doubt you do, but didn't you tell that to Curmudgeon? Please try to keep up.

While it may play a part in leaving the state, it definitely impacts those moving to the state, which was, if you read, the point on the thread.

Paying over $200 to move just to move one's personal property across state lines is a steep bill.
