Anyone else noticing our unusually mild summer?
I'm noticing and I LOVE it. I'm in San Jose, and we've only had two 90 degree days here so far. In an average year, we would've had 10 such days by now. It's been in the 70s on most days. Normally, it's in the low to mid 80s here from late June through late September.

I'll take day after day of sunshine and temps in the mid to high 70s any time .

I couldn't understand a word they were saying, but I knew what was being said when the right rear passenger cranked down his window.

@Pittnewbie

If you're referring to the muginess of the South or Midwest, then I'm game for that.

I'd trade it for the consistent wind and chill night temps the Victorville area dumps on us.
Seems like the past couple of months we've been lucky to break 100.

It's because of Global Warming, "they" say. And I thought it was because of El Nino; no wonder I never understood Science!
I'd like to hear the explanation of the Expert -in -Chief, namely Mr.Gore, though...

Was the video too difficult for you to understand? Or would you prefer to interject a political point of view that is intimidated by science? What is called "anti-intellectualism" - the same people that bring us "creationism"

I would love to see another somewhat mild summer like last summer but i dont think lightning will strike twice. Last summer i didnt use my cooler until mid july & shut it down early oct. Ill put it off as long as i can this summer but i bet by july 4th my cooler will be back in business for a long, hot & dry summer. I havent used my a/c in my car for approx 8 yrs cause i cant afford to charge the old type a/c + my condensor is a lil noisy. Ill just deal with no a/c & roll my windows down.

It's been way to cold to go to the beach here in Oceanside. Brr..there were a few days a couple weeks back but it's been cold since then. And gloomy, maybe June gloom is starting early this year.
