In the Winchester Mystery House. Too bad it probably has a value in the high eight digits!

Somewhere on my own land near the Temecula Wineries, so beautiful, or in the rich areas of Temecula, some nice mansions up there.

Up on the hills of Camarillo, you still get the coolness from the beach, but the sunshine and warmth from the sun every day and less than an hour to L.A.

I love Pismo Beach!

Monterey!

If money wasn't an issue...hmm, surprised no one has said "buy the whole state"

I'd probably buy at least the Western Hemisphere, turn it into a gigantic nature preserve. Repopulate the place with the native flora and fauna.

Really though, I'd probably live in the Monterey Bay Area, probably near Carmel. It has access to a really cool town (Monterey is probably my favorite town in California right now), access to some of the best nature and coastline in the country (I LOVE Big Sur. I wish I had more time to explore it), and really consistent weather (mostly in the 60s and 70s) with fog thrown in. Oh, we can dream, alright!

Even though I've never been there, probably somewhere around Lake Tahoe close to the NV border.

Corona Del Mar in Orange County - nice nieghborhood, good schools, walkable and has a beach where you can actually swim in the water w/o a wet suit!

I also love it over by Arroyo Seco. We have wonderful memories of fishin' in the river, & exploring the backroads, some of which end up over by Lake Naciemiento & San Antonio. There are some good fishin' ponds on Hunter Liggett.

Some of our good friends lived by Fred's Camp & Miller's Lodge. We had some great BBQ's, playing horseshoes & some dancing to a local band.

Used to swim on a Hot night, over by the gorge.
