There's a reason people have preferred cars for most of the last century. I like to go where I want, when I want, and not be at the mercy of someone else's schedule and routing.

Convenience > inconvenience

I'll be sure to wave at you while you're sweating in the sun waiting for the bus.

Well part of the issue here is that public transit is a (relative) inconvenience in most of CA because there isn't a focus on improving it.

On another note, how long have you been trying to escape CA? lol, looks like it's going to take some time.

We need a public transit infrastructure like the rest of the civilized world, not more cars and more slavery to Big Oil. Change is good.

I'd be all for the high-speed passenger rail project...

...if we actually had the money for it. $#!t, I'm even surprised it's still on the table, what with the budget disaster the state is currently going through.

Default This bill will make it harder for you guys to build this...

I don't think its a fair bill and i think its ridiculous , World War 2 is a closed case.....no reason to open old wounds. Considering that SNCF and Bombardier build trains for Israel that says something? I guess Californians can't buy German / French cars or other goods.

I waved at you guys all the time when you guys are stuck in bumper to bumper traffic and I'm zipping through via train. I'll be counting my savings when you are paying $3+ per gallon at the pump.

Maybe if she were willing to get out of bumper to bumper traffic, she can "escape California" faster.
