Europe has bought the global warming story completely (along with other socialist schemes). In Europe 50-70% of their GDP goes to run government. What little is left stays with the people. The government take is so large that families have little to spend on the kind of luxuries that we have in the US.

In the US government now takes 30-40% of our GDP. If the Democrats get their way we will soon have "Cap and Tax" (huge taxes on all energy) along with a VAT. From then on there will be no difference between the US and Europe. The opportunity for our kids to prosper and achieve a better life will be gone. And for what? For a global warming theory that has no scientific proof. Just Al Gore's word for it? That's pretty much what we are going on. More and more scientists are coming forward and disputing the global warming theory.

Native, if we don't do something to break the stranglehold the fossil fuel industry has on this country, you won't have to worry about our kids' "opportunity to prosper". They'll be too busy fighting in the Middle East for the next 100 years.

If you knew the first thing about the weather patterns, you would know our air comes from the Pacific Ocean. We have Easterly winds most of the time. So the air becomes a problem when it just SITS over us, stagnant soaking up the chemicals from the refineries.


This prop will make a HUGE difference because our air is pretty clean when it gets here, but as it travels through the land mass with stinky factories around the BAY it makes it GROSS to anyone living East of the toxicity.

If you want to push to use less imported oil for some reason like energy independence then do it for that reason. Don't make up lies about "climate change" to scare people into conserving. Make conservation and energy independence the issue. Unfortunately it won't fly with the American public. Most people don't care about conserving, but they might be scared ionto believing that
