When it rains or even drizzles here its big news on tv. I often wash my car windshield with my window washer thingy so my wiper blades dont dry out. When we get the first decent rain people will as usual be going to the auto parts store to buy wiper blade refills. Last yr (8/09) mine were falling off the metal part so i super glued them back on. So far so good.

Its 8:03 pm & the temps are very high all over so.ca. Its 93 in L.A. & about 90 here. Its VERY uncomfortable even with 3 fans on.

It's 94 right now in Sherman Oaks, a very nice cool down from a high of 109. I may faint when I get my power bill, but in this weather, what are the alternatives? Our thermostat is set to 78, and I have a fan blowing right on me (somehow, even with central air and heat, my bedroom experiences the most extreme temperatures in the entire apartment).

According to yahoo weather, reached 110 in Chino. I go to work to get away from the heat and not run my own AC. It's cool inside when I get home because I keep the blinds drawn and there's a balcony above my patio that shades my living room. Really helps to keep it cool. In order to sleep, I open a window slightly.

Sucks to drive, though... need the ac serviced.

Its suppose to be cooler. On tv the weather forcaster said l.A. should get fall like weather later this week. I guess shes from phx cause low 80s is not fall like weather.

To me fall weather is low to mid 60s. Perfect sweatshirt/hoodie weather.
