How are you all dealing with the heat ? Its almost oct & right now @ 4:40 am its 75 degrees. Todays high is too hit 107. I have my cooler on for the first time this early in the morning in yrs.

It was miserable all night staying in the 80's. I hate air conditioning but we had to run it all night just to feel half-way decent. It's been well above 100F for several days and today is forecast to be 108F here in Pasadena! Damn!

I spent a perfectly comfortable night in the back bedroom with the AC set to 76. That's where it remains, and it's nice in here with all the blinds drawn. I expect it to hit no less than 112 today. My days of blasting the AC at the lowest setting are ovvahhh.

We've had it pretty good this year with the coolest summer I can ever remember. Too bad but September and October can be the worse months for heat. Keeping the thermostat at 76F is perfect for me but anything higher is too warm for comfort. At least the humidity is extremely low.

I'm dealing with it same as I always have. This heat is nothing for us desert rats.
For me it's just another same ol' - same ol' day.
It usually stays hot in the CV until mid-October anyway, so this is pretty normal for us.
