May I just make an outside observation? Jerry Brown is not going to offer anything new. He's the same old thing, so if I were voting in CA I would vote for Whitman, for sure.

Apparently you have not seen the ad showing Schwarznegger's promises and Whitman using the exact same words for her promises.

Yeah, sure. The biggest effect (IMO) is that third parties suck voters off the nearest of the two major parties and end up helping their enemies and hurting their friends.

So the two parties have a lock and the dissatisfied voters have no third place to go.

As an eBay seller from 1998 until now, I would not count on Meg Whitman to do a damn thing about anything. She's really not as smart as you think she is.

She IS driven to provide for MEg.

I voted for John McCain in the last presidential election and I'll be DAMNED if I vote for this stupid wannabe politician in this election.
