The aerospace company that an old friend of mine is president of just announced their decision to relocate to AZ or NV to all of their IE employees this morning. This decision was based on the outcome of the election.

The bleeding of the productive sector continues.

Call BS until the cows come home, that's what I was told this evening. Once a press release is issued, I'll provide a link.

Well there are not that many that come to mind. There are only 2 aerospace companies in CA I'm aware of Lockheed Martin and Northrop Grumman. Is your friend really the president of one of those? Nice... Boeing is in Seatle WA. Who else? Not saying I don't trust you, just curious.

"Aerospace company" doesn't automatically equal "huge corporate conglomerate". Hell, it's in the IE fercrissakes, how huge could it be? I just fired off an email to him seeking permission to mention the name of the company.

Patience, grasshoppers. Your ADD is showing.

Probably one of these: Aerospace Companies in California (CA)
907 by the site's count. You have to figure that more than one will find another state's business climate more agreeable and will leave.

That's odd. I'm on the negotiating committee for our labor association (quaint metropolitan police department in L.A. Co). We just put the finishing touches on a new five year contract with our city. Neither the City Manager, the Assistant City Manager, the CFO, or the HR head mentioned to us that the sky was falling because of the election results. Musta slipped their minds!
