I have brought up the danger of Canadians seeking to invade California before. Here, linked below, is a related example of how "one way" these brutal barbarians can be when oppressed Americans seek support and shelter.

Californians, watch your citrus crops carefully! Protect your asparagus! Guard your almonds! These modern-day Mongols from the north are serious .. they send their bad weather south with impunity hoping you will flee, leaving the door open! -- and if this happens, you will never get a break from them if you are in need! Read on! (including the short disclaimer at the beginning of the report)

Good call, Curmudgeon! Good to know you are alert. Yes, the Canadian geese are a particularly sinister part of the northern plot ... they not only clog aircraft engines on runways, but clog yards and pond paths with their waste ... this is nothing to merely pooh-pooh at ... I urge all to take action at Christmas dinner by serving one up on a platter (goose or Canadian, whichever suits you most ... seasoned to taste.) Let them know that "California does not sleep!" (despite how the economy appears).

Ok boyo, have you even been to Canada? I've been to Canada twice. Both times, getting into Canada was MUCH more of a hassle than getting back into the states. I've been to Vancouver and Edmonton. Other than the bitter weather, they do not have any desire coming to the US especially California. Sure, they pay more taxes but they get more than we do on percentage wise. We pay about 36 a gallon for state fees on gas. Thats much more than most states. No need to go over all pathetic our budget is neither.

But you are right, I suppose the sunny days here solve everything!

you should see the problem we have here in NWA and some want them to be left alone. They are fun to watch and cute but the damage they do to the golf courses for starters is unbeleivable and for some reason they don't use birth control so they just keep having kids.

I've brought this up several times. People complain because of the illegal trade of marijuana coming from Mexico. However, I have said, again several times, what about the marijuana coming from British Columbia? Its much stronger the the Mexican marijuana; however, there is NO violence on the border, with the Canuck's. Although, its smuggled into the US, just as much from Mexico.

Of course, the liberal dope smokers, don't say a word...

Based on who I know who smokes pot, it is hardly the province of liberals. Millions of Americans smoke dope, businessmen, architects, firefighters, farmers, there is no pot smoker demographic.

Can you tell us what border violence is connected smuggling marijuana from Mexico?

s. Although, its smuggled into the US, just as much from Mexico.
No

Quote:
Mexico has been the principal source of U.S.-destined foreign marijuana for decades, and already high production levels escalated in 2003. Mexican DTOs control nearly all marijuana production in Mexico, and an estimated 13,500 metric tons of marijuana were potentially produced in Mexico during 2003--70 percent more than the previous year. The Royal Canadian Mounted Police (RCMP) estimates Canadian marijuana production at 800 to 2,000 metric tons.
Even at 2,000 tons, only a portion enters the US, far less than with Mexico.
