Just taking a quick poll to see what town you think ranks number one as having the most spectacular main street/downtown. One that you would expect to see on a magazine cover. Please let me know what county it is in and what the population is. Thanks!

Newport Beach!! I was stunned when I saw the striking vast landscape, vegetation, million dollar homes, and palm trees! Nothing like LA!

The view of San Francisco from the Marin Headlands is nothing short of spectacular! It is a beautiful city and I especially like it from that vantage point.

Petaluma and Santa Rosa are used in films quite a lot.

San Francisco for sure. I also like the view of downtown San Diego from Point Loma or Coronado. The typical postcards of downtown SD are typically taken from one of those locations.

That Ventura shot looks amazing too. I do like LA when it's clear and the San Gabriel mts. have snow on them.

I'm biased because I grew up right next door in Goleta, but there is nothing prettier to me than the beach with the mountain backdrop.

El Segundo has a pretty post-card-esque downtown.
