No you are the one who is clueless and needs to take their foot out of their mouth.

Here lets look at all the recent National polls. See if you can comprehend that the Nation can't stand Obama Care. Oh and now 25 states are suing the Feds to stop it.

I think people originally liked the basic premise but once it was forced down our throats by a congress that admitted they didn't read it, much less understand it and is was half-baked, the people were far less happy.

So what's your solution? Our clinics and hospitals are clogged with sick people with no insurance who can't pay their bills. Someone has to pay. How are those deep holes in the hospital's budget going to get filled?

I was very disappointed that the President didnt stick to his guns and demand the public option be kept. It would have helped millions of people. Pooling money would have enabled millions to afford health care. There are ALOT of people who work hard at jobs that need help. Not everyone who needs help is leeching off the tax payers. We pool our money in things such as money market funds. Large employers can provide health care coverage to thier employees because they pool the deductions from paychecks. The public option should be put back on the table.

LOL how predictable you use "real clear politics" a right leaning site who's owned by guys saying they are sick of republican & christian bashing. Hiding behind "Non Partisan". I'll take the Gallup Poll over that BS. Also Red states voting to repeal the bill is not proof of anything. The point was to pass the bill and go back and fix things later. To get Americans covered. You can't see the big picture, you only focus on who passed it. 70+% of people favor parts of it like the end to pre existing condition denial and covering kids up to 26 years old. The nit picking the right and you are doing is petty and weak.

US is the only developed county in the world without government run healthcare for "everyone."

US healthcare costs are between 40-150% higher than that of every other developed country (even the "outrageous" ones like France).

US life expectancy is bottom 50% among developed countries.

The old healthcare system is outrageous. "Obamacare" is equally awful.

I am not a fan of government intervention. I am an economic conservative. But in my mind healthcare is like police and fire: belongs to government control. Not only does everyone get coverage, it's cheaper. How do I know? See over two dozen other developed countries who have government run healthcare.

If it were up to me I would:

(1) Require health insurance companies to pool ALL their customers into one single pool and charge them all exactly the same rate. (This spreads the risk across the entire customer base.)

(2) Require employers to report the cash value of health insurance provided to employees on W-2 forms. That benefit would be subject to taxation. (This places unemployed and retired people on the same basis as those lucky people who get health insurance provided as part of their employment package.)

(3) Allow taxpayers to deduct the cost of their health insurance as an income tax deduction. Forms would be designed so that those who do not itemize deductions are still able to deduct the insurance cost.

(4) With all of the above we would all be on a comparable footing with paying for our health insurance, we'd all be in the same boat (one single boat), and at that point I'd be willing to consider providing taxpayer funded health insurance for those who can prove they can't pay for their own. All others would be required to buy insurance.

I know my idea is not perfect but that's what it would take to get me more receptive to mandatory universal health insurance.

Or heck, let's just nationalize the entire health insurance industry and have a single payer system. Everybody pays the same, everybody gets the same access to health care. What could be more fair than that?
