I agree ... this guy and a bowl of chili could be dangerous!

You're missing my point. I'm not talking about right now, this instance in time, this minuscule little blip of time represented by the past 200 years. The vulcanism that created the Siberian Traps happened continuously for up to a million years. If it happened before it can happen again.

Must I remind you that you're the one who made the statement about the Earth not being in the habit of doing that?

Again, you're missing my point; there's no evidence that says that activity released Co or CO2.

You're once again descending into that ad hominem morass that always ends up with you getting another tempban.

EDIT: That last post addressed the San Diego version of Californio Sur.

I think the major problem is that people confuse climate with weather. Last month we had 4.5 inches of rain in 12 hours in my area and the topic of conversation always drifted to global warming or some other such nonsense having caused it.

Meanwhile, I'm converting all my listing information to "waterfront property". We're only about 2000' ASL

While I do think global warming (better called climate change) is real, I agree with you to some degree. Not every unusual weather anomaly, or even a series of them can be attributed to climate change. The evidence is only visible when looking at climate over a period greater than a decade. Climate is what we expect, weather is what we get.
