hmm I really don't think there is an IB program school but if there is one in California, SF bay area would definitely be the place.

Actually most of the IB schools are in the LA, so cal area.

I graduated from high school with a full IB diploma back in 2003. Nobody outside of where I grew up even knows what one is.

There are IB schools scattered all over California including Bay Area, Southern California, San Diego, Sacramento, Fresno, Modesto, etc.
There are a number of IB schools scattered around the Bay Area from San Jose/Los Gatos north to Santa Rosa and Fairfield. If the OP has a rough idea about where they will live in the Bay Area it might be easier to identify several.

There are only 2 private IB high schools in the entire bay area...one is very Asian influenced and only has 10 students so I dont even consider that a real school, more like home school or tutoring. The other is a French Intl school which we are considering, however I would prefer a more balanced french/spanish school, as that is typically how international IB schools that my daughter has attended are.
Shockingly, there are no public ib high schools in san francisco, one in berkeley (but only for 11-12, not for 9th and 10th like my daughter is used to), one in san mateo and one in redwood city. We live currently in a city much smaller than S.F., and though our daughter attends private IB, there are several public IB here. I am surprised the bay area has not caught on.
Just thought I would get on here in case we missed one somewhere but unfortunately that does not seem to be the case!

Quarry Lane School in Dublin, CA offers IB diploma for 11-12th graders. It's a private institution and I cannot make an informed comparison with the public options in the Bay Area.
